GSPI is involved with joint venture facility Consortium partners and research facilities for commercial production of algae in five continents.
To ensure security of its advance technology, trade secrets and other intellectual property, GSPI does not directly sell its plants or reactors. Instead, the company forms joint venture arrangements with customers who become GSPI’s operating partners in each facility.
GSPI revenue stream comes from fabrication and installation of plants, profits generated from joint venture facilities, exclusive licensing arrangements, profit participation in manufacturing and sales of high-tech lubricants, royalty income and engineering service income.
The GSPI Bio-Refinery facilities, which incorporate joint production operations of both biodiesel and biomass ethanol, will be the first of their kind in North America and possibly the World.
The GSPI sustainable business model has long incorporated farming promotion, green engineering, biomass waste management and ethanol production concepts in all of its biodiesel projects.
The Bio-Refinery Complex would fully integrate both a biodiesel processing plant and biomass ethanol processing plant to optimize engineering strategy and cost reduction through planned synergic processing.
GSPI has been involved in algae research for five years, long before it became a Wall Street hot item. In 2007, GSPI built and operated one of the largest algae demonstration facilities in the world – a 40,000-liter algae facility that ran for 9-months and successfully provided all the information and data required for commercial production. GSPI expects to start construction of a commercial 500-acre facility before the end of the 2008 summer for which it is already purchasing equipment and supplies.
GSPI is also involved with joint venture facility Consortium partners and research facilities for commercial production of algae in five continents.
