Green Star's Consumer Products Launches Super Therm® Insulation Coating

CHICAGO, IL (BUSINESS WIRE) November 20, 2008 – Green Star Products, Inc. (OTC: GSPI), Consumer Products Division announces their endorsement and commercialization of a new energy-saving and Earth-friendly insulation coating for industrial and residential applications – Super Therm® Insulation Coating.

Superior Products International II, Inc.,(SPI) is the developer and manufacturer of Super Therm® as well as the other SPI Coating Products which are presented on their corporate website at www.spicoatings.com.

Super Therm® is a ceramic based insulating and weatherizing coating. A 10-mil dry layer is equivalent to a R-19 insulation material. Its high reflectivity stops over 95% of the heat from loading into a structure and the high emissitivity throws off over 90% of the heat load. Super Therm® is LEEDs certified, Energy Star rated, "green" energy saving product that is unlike anything else on the market. It is the next generation in insulation!

Super Therm® is primarily used as a exterior insulation roof coating but can be applied to exterior or interior walls. On exterior wall applications, it seals and protects the building from heat, water, mold, wind and sound. It also provides a better fire barrier offering a “0” flame spread. Super Therm® protects the structure from thermal expansion/contraction damage and can more than double the re-painting cycle. It has a 10-year warranty with a 20-year life expectancy under normal conditions, and must be applied by a certified contractor.

Super Therm® has been used around the world, especially in the Japanese roof coating market. On certain buildings, Super Therm® has saved 30-50% on A/C and heating costs (Engineering studies show 52% savings on total KW usage). Can you imagine how much wasted cooling/heating energy our country could save if we started using Supertherm on all our buildings? Reducing total energy cost by 50% would means billions of dollars in savings for consumers, businesses and industry as well as head off the brown outs across the heavily populated sections of the US projected to happen again in 2009.

The Super Therm® trademark is owned by Superior Products International II, Inc.
